Eddie Hargitay is the nephew and godson of Mickey Hargitay, Mariska Hargitay's father, who was a famous actor and Mr. Universe in the 1950s. To celebrate the end of Season 25 of SVU, Eddie shared a sweet photo on Instagram with his cousin Mariska. In the picture, she is smiling widely in her character Benson's outfit while hugging him.

Eddie Hargitay, Mariska Hargitay's cousin, plays Officer Eddie Montero on Law & Order: SVU since the Season 19 finale.
Montero first appears in the two-part finale titled "Remember Me" and "Remember Me Too." In these episodes, the SVU team investigates a complex case involving Lourdes Vega, a woman who was kidnapped and forced into sex trafficking.

Benson skillfully handles the situation and convinces Vega to let Montero go, ensuring she gets the help she needs.
