Is Nobody Dumps My Daughter a True Story?
Nobody Dumps My Daughter is inspired by a true story. Lifetime's new movie, Nobody Dumps My Daughter, is about an overbearing mother who gets too involved in her daughter's love life.
When her daughter gets dumped by her boyfriend, the mother becomes obsessed with getting them back together. She even goes to extreme lengths, using shady tactics to make it happen.
Nobody Dumps My Daughter Movie
The movie Nobody Dumps My Daughter premiered on October 12, at 8 PM Eastern Time on Lifetime. It tells the story of a mother, Mary (played by Ana Ortiz), who goes to extreme lengths to get her daughter, Theresa (played by Jasmine Vega), back together with her ex-boyfriend, Jimmy.
After Jimmy breaks up with Theresa, Mary becomes obsessed with getting them back together because she finds out that Jimmy took Theresa's virginity. She tries everything to change Jimmy's mind, even offering him bribes. When her plans don’t work, Mary gets desperate and hires a fortune teller named Anna (played by Sheila E.) and a hitman to kill Jimmy in an attempt to restore her daughter's purity.
