James Beard Awards 2025 Winners- FAQs
The 2025 James Beard Awards ceremony took place on Monday, June 16, 2025, at the Lyric Opera of Chicago. This marked the 35th anniversary of the awards and the 10th consecutive year they were held in Chicago.
Frasca Food and Wine in Boulder, Colorado won the Outstanding Restaurant award, beating out nominees including Galit (Chicago), Coquine (Portland), Nonesuch (Oklahoma City), and Oberlin (Providence).
The ceremony was hosted by Nyesha Arrington and Andrew Zimmern, with over 1,500 attendees at the black-tie event.
