Jeremy Carmichael Missing Diver
Jeremy Carmical, a 30-year-old scuba diver, went missing on September 22, 2024, off the coast of Destin, Florida. He disappeared suddenly after a dive near East Pass, southwest of Destin. According to those with him, he vanished "in the blink of an eye," and despite searching for hours, they were unable to find him. After their efforts failed, they contacted authorities for help in locating him.
Was Jeremy Carmichael Found?
Yes, Jeremy Carmical's body has been found. The United Cajun Navy led the search after the Coast Guard ended their search on 25th September night. Captain Tony Dickey of the UCN confirmed the discovery. The team located his body following their continued efforts to find him.
Jeremy Carmichael Destin
Several groups were involved in searching for Jeremy Carmical. Sixteen vessels and volunteer divers worked together, doing surface and bottom searches. Planes and local volunteers, including beach walkers, also helped.
The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office and the Coast Guard started the search but later handed it off to local efforts. Captain Tony Dickey of the United Cajun Navy led the search, making safety a top priority.
