Qualification Details

• Bachelor's degree obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or a State Act in India; or any other educational institution recognised as such or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956, and Completed the Divisional Officers Course or the Fire Prevention course recognised by the National Fire Service College, Nagpur
• Bachelor's degree obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or a State Act in India; or any other educational institution recognised as such or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956, and Completed the Station Officer and Instructor's Course or the Fire Prevention course recognised by the National Fire Service College, Nagpur
• a degree of Bachelor of Engineering (Fire) / Bachelor of Technology (Fire) Bachelor of Engineering (Fire and safety)/Bachelor of Technology (Fire and safety) Bachelor of Science (Fire) obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or a State Act in India; or any other educational institution recognized as such or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956;
• have about seven years' service experience in a whole time in the field of Fire Brigade out of which three years' experience on the post which can be considered equivalent to the post not below the rank of Station Officer or Assistant Divisional Officer in Government/Local bodies / Government Undertaking Board/Corporation/ Limited Company established under the Companies Act, 2013;
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Fire)/ Bachelor’s degree of Technology (Fire)/ Bachelor’s degree of Engineering (Fire and safety)/ Bachelor’s degree of Technology (Fire and safety)/ Bachelor’s degree of Science (Fire)/Bachelor’s degree of Science (Fire and safety) obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or a State Act in India;
• or any other educational institution recognized as such or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956;
• Have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination conducted by a Secondary and/or Higher Secondary Education Board or possess an equivalent qualification recognised by the Government and
• Possess a certificate of six months course of fireman from recognized institution of State of Central Government of Industrial Training Institute, Fireman Course or Driver cum Pump Operator Course, from the recognised institution of State or Central Government;
• Higher Secondary school certificate examination from secondary and / or Higher Secondary education board or possess an equivalent qualification recognised as such by the Government; and
• Passed at least Six Months Full Time Course of Fireman or above level offered by National Fire Academy, Vadodara or NCVT or GCVT

Application Fee

The application fee is Rs. 300 for all female candidates and Rs. 600 for unreserved male candidates. Payment must be made online. For further details, please refer to the notification.
