Street Fighter 6 Gameplay
Street Fighter 6 offers three main game modes: Fighting Ground, World Tour, and Battle Hub.
-
Fighting Ground: This mode includes local and online battles, training, and arcade modes, featuring traditional 2D fighting gameplay where players use various attacks and special abilities.
-
World Tour: A single-player story mode where players create a customizable avatar to explore 3D environments, including locations like Metro City and the fictional nation of Nayshall, using action-adventure gameplay.
-
Battle Hub: An online lobby where players can use their avatars to compete in ranked or casual matches, participate in special events, and play classic Capcom arcade games.
The gameplay centers around the Drive Gauge, which allows players to perform five different techniques, encouraging creativity in combat. There are three control schemes: a classic six-button layout, a simplified four-button layout, and an offline-only dynamic control scheme that uses AI for attacks.
Players can use multiple super combos based on level gauges, and when health is low, the Level 3 super move becomes a more powerful Critical Art. An exciting new feature is the real-time commentary system, where commentators provide live feedback during matches, adding to the tournament atmosphere.
