TRB Tripura Recruitment 2024 Notification Overview

Qualification Details

• Bachelor Degree in Library Science from a recognised university or Graduate with one year Diploma in Library Science from a recognised institution.
• Desirable Qualification : Having knowledge of Bengali or Kokborok
• NB: Relaxation up to 5o/o in the qualifying marks will be allowed to the candidates belonging to SC/ST /PH category.

Age Limit

Up to 40 years as on 06.12.2024. Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST/PH and Government Servant provided that government employees belonging to SC/ST/PH category will not get relaxation over and above general relaxation of 5 years available to them. Upper age limit is also relaxable for Ex-Serviceman (ESM) as per norms.

Salary

Rs. 20,475/-(revised) fixed per month being 75 % of basic pay [Level-9) of Tripura State Pay Matrix, 201,8, Group-C [Non Gazetted].

Selection Procedure

• The selection will be done on the basis of Mark obtained in the "selection Test for School Librarian (STSL) - 2024" subject to scrutiny of certificates/documents/ Mark Sheets and correctness of information given by the candidates in the online application form.
• Minimum 50% marks [75 out of 150) are to be obtained in the test with 5%o relaxation [68 out of 150) for SC/ST/PH candidates.
• Depending upon number of vacant post, candidates will be recommended for recruitment as per merit. Thus all candidates obtained minimum mark [75 or 68, as applicable or more may not be recommended for recruitment as recommendation depends on the numbers of vacant post as mentioned in the notification.
• Securing minimum mark [75 or 68, as applicable) or more does not confer any right to any candidate for recruitment.
• Candidates will be responsible for correctness of all particulars as furnished in the online application form. In case of any subsequent detection of false or defective information or suppression of facts, even after selection / appointment, his/ her candidature will be summarily rejected without further notification.
• Candidature of Candidates, who submit online application, disregarding the eligibility/minimum educational qualification/other criteria/ terms and conditions etc. as laid down in this notification and in the "Prospectus cum Instructions: Selection Test for School Librarian(STsl) - 2024" will be rejected at any stage of the selection process without further notification.
• Candidates must fulfil all eligibility criteria / terms and conditions of this notification and "Prospectus cum lnstructions: Selection Test for School Librarian (STSLJ-2024".

How to Apply?

• While applying online the candidate must ensure that she/he understands and fulfils the norms of eligibility. Before applying online please ensure to have the following for uploading:
• Scanned image of latest passport size photograph of candidate (In JPG/JPEG format only, Size: up to 100 KB).
• Scanned image of full signature of candidate (In JPG/JPEG format only, Size: up to 60 KB).
• Log on to TRBT's official website www.trb.tripura.gov.in and click on 'Apply Online' link. You will be directed to the registration page.
• Candidates are to enter the required information such as name, DOB, email ID, Phone Number etc., and get themselves registered.
• Note down the Registration Number for future reference. For registration, e-mail ID must be unique. Once registered, login with Registration Number/E-mail ID and password as set by you. For security reason do not share the password with others.
• Candidate can apply for "Selection Test for School Librarian (STSL) - 2024" from 'Apply Online' link of candidate's homepage.
• In candidate's homepage, for School Librarian please click on "Apply Online" link with respect to "Selection Test for School Librarian (STSL) - 2024" Select eligibility criteria from drop down list.
• All particulars regarding academic and professional qualifications must be entered correctly. Submit the form after entering all the information correctly. Finalize the application if all information is entered correctly.
• If any rectification is required click on "Edit Application" link in candidate's homepage. Once finalised the application form can no more be edited. So before finalization make sure that all information entered are correct.

• Date of Test (STSL) - 19.01.2025 (Sunday).
• Time of Test (STSL) - From 12:00 Noon to 02:30 P. M. ( 2 hour 30 minutes)
• Entry into test venue closes - 11:00 A.M
• Test Center - Agartala
• Test Venue - Will be mentioned in the Admit Card
• Admit Card Downloading - 06.01.2025 (from 04:00 P. M). to 13.01.2025 (up to 04:00 P. M.)
