BEL Recruitment 2024 Notification Overview

Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) is inviting applications for the position of Manager, with three vacancies available in Bangalore. Candidates must be no more than 45 years old as of October 1, 2024, and should hold a BE/B.Tech degree in relevant fields such as Electronics, Telecommunication, or Computer Science, with a pass class. Applicants should have a rank of Commander or Lt. Commander, at least four years of seniority in that rank, and a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience. Experience in areas like system design, technical documentation, and project management is highly desirable.

The selected candidate will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring project execution, installation, and commissioning, as well as providing product support through effective liaison with user representatives, particularly within the Indian Navy’s operational platforms. Qualification Details

• BE/B.Tech course from Institute / University in Electronics / Telecommunication / Communication / Electronics & Communication / Electronics & Telecommunication / Computer Science / Electrical with Pass class.
• Should be in the rank of Commander/ Lt. Commander with 4 years’ seniority in the rank with minimum of 12 years of relevant experience.
• Candidates who are applying on re-employment basis should have been discharged on or after 01.10.2019.
• Experience in System design, Technical Documentation, Reliability, Maintainability, Operations, Installations, Systems Acceptance Trials, Product Life Cycle support, Obsolescence management, Configuration control, IETM & CBTs and FMEA / CA.
• Experience in Project Management will be an added advantage.

Job Description

• Responsible for coordinating and monitoring all the activities related to project execution, installation and commissioning and providing product support through effective liasoning with the user representatives.
• Conversant with the operating environment of Ship Building Centers (SBC) / dockyards / maintenance depots / Operational Platforms/MOs etc. of Indian Navy.
• Responsible for coordinating and monitoring all the commissioning activities related to BEL projects under execution at customer premises
• Execution of STW/HATS/OPS checks of BEL supplied equipment as per the Terms and conditions of contracts through effective liasioning and co-ordination with Indian Navy / Shipyards representatives.
