Her Blue Sky ends with Aoi Aioi helping her sister Akane reconnect with Shinnosuke Kanamuro, her former boyfriend. Throughout the film, Aoi discovers that a living ghost version of Shinno, her sister's ex, appears due to Shinno's unresolved feelings about leaving.
