Ichigo takes on her role to protect people from evil spirits called Hollows and helps good spirits move on to the Soul Society. Bleach

The story follows Ichigo Kurosaki, a teenager who gains the powers of a Soul Reaper (like a Grim Reaper) from another Soul Reaper named Rukia Kuchiki. With these powers, Ichigo has to protect people from evil spirits and help guide souls to the afterlife. The anime not only follows the manga but also includes some original storylines and characters that aren’t in the manga.
