It is not known if Bernie is leaving Eastenders or not. The Six’s killer secret caused distraught to Bernie Taylor in one of the episodes of EastEnders. 

Bernie Taylor was told the truth about Keanu Taylor's murder. She was desperate to bring her brother justice after he was found dead and buried underneath the Bridge Street café. This led her to team up with Dean Wicks who was framed for the crime.

Bernie’s quest to expose her brother's killer lead her into a trap set by The Six making her their next victim, much like Reiss Colwell. Letitia Dean, who plays Sharon Watts has hinted at upcoming trouble for Bernie as her character becomes worried about Bernie's actions.

Fearing that Linda may confess to Bernie after a failed attempt at the police station, Kathy Beale, Stacey Slater, Denise Fox and Suki Panesar joined her at the café, where Bernie tried to kill Linda for murdering Keanu.

The Five told Bernie the truth, admitting they were scared by Nish Panesar moments before Keanu's death. Bernie stormed out after Denise begged for her to wait till they said goodbye to their children before turning them in.

Letitia Dean shared insights into her character's fears saying: "It's very concerning for her. Bernie is hell-bent on making Sharon pay for the death of her brother and she's made it very clear that she won't let this issue lie" She continued to describe Bernie's nature: "We've seen Bernie resort to some very low tactics in the past couple of weeks so who knows how far she is willing to go, she's very unpredictable."

Is Linda Leaving Eastenders?

It is uncertain if Linda is leaving Eastenders or not. In the recent episodes, we can see that Linda Carter, played by Kellie Bright, is being tormented by a letter writer, unaware that Bernie Taylor is on a mission to find the truth about Keanu Taylor's death. The landlady has been grappling with guilt over her role in Keanu's murder, a crime she committed, but keeps hidden from the authorities.

Despite efforts from The Six to help Linda keep the secret, Bernie Taylor is determined to find out what really happened and started sending Linda threatening letters. It was revealed that Bernie is working with Dean Wicks and is due to stand trial for a crime he didn't commit.

Clair Hayley Norris was born on December 30, 1997 in Greenwich, London and attended Miskin Theatre at North Kent College. In 2017, Norris was cast in the BBC soap opera EastEnders as Bernadette Taylor, the daughter in the Taylor family.
