NBA 2k25 2.0 Patch Notes
NBA 2K25 Patch 2.0, also called Update 1.008 on PS5, brings several improvements and fixes as the game gets ready for Season 2, launching on October 18, 2024. The update is available for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

NBA 2K25 is a sports video game released on September 6, 2024. It was developed by Visual Concepts and published by 2K. This game is the 26th in the NBA 2K series and follows NBA 2K24. NBA 2K25 Development
On July 10, 2024, it was announced that NBA 2K25 will be the first game in the NBA 2K series to feature both NBA and WNBA players on the cover. The All-Star Edition will showcase Jayson Tatum from the Boston Celtics and A'ja Wilson from the Las Vegas Aces. The Standard Edition will feature Tatum, while the WNBA Edition will highlight Wilson.
The Naismith Hall of Fame Edition will include Vince Carter, who is among the inductees for that year. This version will also be the first PC edition to include all the features found in the console versions, except for cross-play and anti-cheat, which will only be available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. NBA 2K25 will utilize a new technology called ProPlay, which transforms real NBA footage into in-game animations, adding 9,000 new animations. Additionally, the game will have a new dribble engine and an improved defensive movement system.
