What is John Barrowman Doing Now?
In September 2024, John surprised everyone by quitting Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins just 32 minutes after arriving at base camp. He had initially joined the show to "prove himself." However, after trying one task, he decided to leave voluntarily less than an hour after starting.
According to The Sun, John had just received his armband, which marked the beginning of his journey, and was assigned the number '13.' After struggling in the first challenge, he felt sick as the other contestants lined up to enter their bunks. He then took off his armband.
His fellow recruits and the staff were shocked. Staff member Jason Fox asked him if he was really leaving, to which John replied, "Yeah, I'm out!" before getting sick in a corner.
As he left, John said, "I know who I am. I know what I'm about, and it's not for me.."

John's career has had its ups and downs, but his love life has been strong. He is married to Scott Gill, a talented architect who designed their beautiful home on the Welsh coast.
They met when Scott saw John perform in a play called Rope at the Chichester Festival Theatre, and John knew right away that Scott was the person he wanted to be with for life.
The couple had a civil ceremony in Cardiff in December 2006. In 2013, they made history as one of the first same-sex couples to marry in California, just one day after the state allowed gay marriages again.

John Scot Barrowman is a Scottish-American actor, author, presenter, singer, and comic book writer. He is best known for playing Captain Jack Harkness in Doctor Who from 2005 to 2010 and again in 2020 and in the spin-off series Torchwood from 2006 to 2011. He also portrayed Malcolm Merlyn in the Arrowverse from 2012 to 2019.

John Barrowman Husband
John met his husband, Scott Gill, in 1993 at the Chichester Film Festival, where Scott was watching a production.
They entered a civil partnership in 2006 and got married in California in 2013.
In 2014, John received an MBE (Member of the Order of the British Empire) award, and Scott was with him at the ceremony at Buckingham Palace.
