As of now, Cam Newton is not playing in the NFL. His last game was on January 9, 2022, when the Carolina Panthers lost to the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC Wild Card round. Since then, Newton has not joined any NFL team. Despite not officially retiring, he remains a free agent.
