Who Plays Knull in Venom 3 The Last Dance?

In Venom: The Last Dance, the character Knull, known as the God of the Symbiotes is yet to be confirmed but there are rumors that Knull is to be played by Andy Serkis. He is famous for his work in motion-capture performances, including roles in The Lord of the Rings and Black Panther.

Although Knull will be introduced in this movie, reports suggest that he won't have a major role and may not even interact with the main character, Eddie Brock (played by Tom Hardy). Knull is expected to appear in a few scenes set in space and will also feature in a post-credits scene.

Venom: The Last Dance

Venom: The Last Dance is an upcoming superhero movie based on the Marvel Comics character Venom. It is the third film in the Venom series, following Venom (2018) and Venom: Let There Be Carnage (2021). This film is also the fifth movie in Sony's Spider-Man Universe.

Sony Pictures started working on this movie in December 2021 after the second film was released. By June 2022, Hardy and Kelly Marcel were writing the script, and Marcel was set to direct. 

Filming began at the end of June 2023 in Spain. Production faced a pause due to the 2023 SAG-AFTRA strike but resumed in November and wrapped up by February 2024. The title was announced a month later. Venom: The Last Dance is set to be released in the United States on October 25, 2024.

Who is Knull in Marvel?

Knull is a fictional supervillain in Marvel Comics, primarily known for his connections to Venom and Carnage. He is depicted as an evil deity who created the symbiotes, which include Venom and Carnage, as well as the powerful weapon called All-Black the Necrosword. Knull is also portrayed as an enemy of Thor and the Silver Surfer, as he played a role in Gorr the God Butcher's mission to kill gods.

Over time, Knull has become one of Marvel's most powerful and notable villains, significantly impacting the Marvel Universe. He will make his movie debut in Venom: The Last Dance. In the Marvel Cinematic Universe film Thor: Love and Thunder, Knull was loosely adapted as a character called the Dark Shadow Lord, played by an uncredited extra. Additionally, Knull has appeared in the animated series Spider-Man, where he was voiced by Ben Pronsky.

Venom: The Last Dance Plot

In Venom: The Last Dance, after the events of Venom: Let There Be Carnage, Eddie Brock and the alien symbiote Venom find themselves in a dangerous situation. Venom: The Last Dance Cast

Tom Hardy returns as Eddie Brock and the voice of Venom. The cast includes Chiwetel Ejiofor, Juno Temple, Rhys Ifans, Peggy Lu, Alanna Ubach, and Stephen Graham. New cast members were added in mid-2023. In this movie, Eddie Brock and Venom are on the run from various enemies. Tom Hardy mentioned in August 2018 that he would be in a third Venom film.
