Joe Daniher is an Australian rules footballer who started his career with the Essendon Football Club in 2013 after being drafted under the father-son rule. He quickly made an impact, kicking his first AFL goal in his second game.

Neale Daniher Career
After retiring as a player, Neale Daniher became an assistant coach at Essendon in 1992, helping the team win a premiership in 1993. He then joined Fremantle as an assistant coach for their first season in 1995. In 1998, he became the senior coach of the Melbourne Football Club, leading the team for ten seasons. Daniher's first year saw Melbourne reach the preliminary final, but the following year was disappointing.
In 2000, he guided the team to the Grand Final against Essendon, but they lost. The team had ups and downs in the following years, reaching the finals but facing early exits. In 2007, after a tough start to the season, Daniher announced he would resign but later decided to leave after one final game against Essendon, which they lost by two points. He was succeeded by Mark Riley as caretaker coach for the remainder of the season.
